Use video, audio, and Dub Pack material that you created or have permission to use. Do not download protected films or online videos simply because a tool can process them. Keep the source file, backing track, timing data, captions, and character labels together before recording.
A healthy project starts with a clear scene duration and a list of lines. Confirm that timestamps do not overlap incorrectly and that each performer knows which character they handle.
Record one line at a time when precision matters, or perform a continuous pass when chemistry matters more. Leave a short quiet lead-in, use the same microphone position, and name retakes clearly. Compare timing, energy, commitment, comedy, and intelligibility rather than chasing loudness.
The PRD proposes a timeline preview followed by MP4 H.264/AAC output, with WebM as a fallback. Final server rendering is not active on this static site. When implemented, rendering jobs should validate input, expose progress, allow retries, and automatically remove expired raw uploads.
